Scott Banister, an early investor in some of Silicon Valley’s biggest success stories, cut the eight-figure check to Make Liberty Win, a Republican-aligned organization focused on state races. The funding has already been deployed across nine battleground states including Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona, with plans to expand operations to at least a dozen states. The organization will mobilize student and youth activists to contact more than two million voters through door-knocking campaigns.

The timing proves critical for Republicans. The Republican State Leadership Committee projected in late August that Democrats would outspend Republicans in state races by a three-to-one margin. Banister’s cash injection could neutralize the liberals’ financial advantage. Tiffany Smiley, founder of Endeavor PAC, warned the Democratic Party has lost control of its far-left wing. Self-described socialists have won nearly two dozen races recently, including New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Smiley asserts Democrats accommodated radical ideas for over a year, allowing the party to go “off the tracks” beyond the point of easy recovery. Make Liberty Win CEO Jeff Frazee said the organization will execute a comprehensive strategy to counter socialist Democrats at the state level, where political movements are built.
